What £95 Test Car Hire Includes
You cannot take the practical test in just any car: it needs L-plates, an extra interior mirror for the examiner and insurance that covers the test. Hiring ours sorts all of that, and means you drive a car you have already used rather than getting to know one on the day.

If you had lessons with us, it is the exact car. The controls, the bite point and the size are already familiar.
Your instructor meets you
They bring the car, check your documents with you and are there when you come back out.
A warm-up drive first
A short drive before the test to settle your nerves and go over anything you are unsure of.
Fully insured for the test
L-plates, the extra mirror for the examiner and insurance that covers the test drive.

Most of our learners test at one of three centres. Each one has its own character, which is why a warm-up on nearby roads helps.
Mitcham Test Centre

Busy, roundabout-heavy routes. The usual centre for Streatham, Brixton, Clapham, Stockwell and Vauxhall learners.
Morden Test Centre
10 Tudor Drive, Morden SM4 4PE
Faster suburban roads with more national-speed-limit driving. Common for Battersea, Wandsworth, Balham, Tooting and Wimbledon.
Tolworth Test Centre
1b Douglas Road, Tolworth KT6 7RZ
Dual carriageway routes around the Tolworth junction and higher-speed roads. Used by Fulham, Hammersmith, Putney, Kingston and Richmond learners.

How to Book the Car for Your Test

Book your test with the DVSA
Test booking is done by you on the GOV.UK website. Choose the centre and date that suit you.

Message us the details
Send the test centre, date, time and whether it is manual or automatic, on WhatsApp or the form on this page.

We confirm and you pay
We confirm the car and instructor are free, and the £95 is paid in advance.

Warm up and take your test
Your instructor meets you before the test for a warm-up drive, then you drive to the centre.
Our Prices
One straightforward rate for manual and automatic lessons. All lessons include a DVSA approved instructor and a dual-control car.
2-Hour Driving Lesson
Any day, any time — 2-hour minimum booking — that's £36 per hour.
10-Hour Block Booking
Valid any day and at any time — that's £35.80 per hour.

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged.
